Mosjid-E-Noor

Masjid-E-Noor is popularly known as Noor Masjid. Established in 1981, it is the most popular and a very large mosque in the locality. Most devotees in the locality are SUNNI Muslims. Accordingly, Khatib and Imams lead prayers in Sunni system {following rituals of Imam Abu Hanifa (R)} though people from all madhabs (namely Imam Malik ibn Anas, Imam Al-Shafi, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbi) can say their prayer in Masjid-E-Noor. The mosque attracts thousands of devotees. It can accommodate approximately 4000 devotees at a time in four floors and basement.
